This kitchen has made such a difference and it has completely change how, when and what I use the kitchen for. Even my style of cooking and baking has changed. The old kitchen was very much past its best and was falling to bits.
Kitchen Studio have designed, installed, fitted and gone beyond what we expected. My most favourite comment has been my daughter-in-law who said “Wow! This is the best kitchen I have ever seen”. The designers used the best possible use of all the space and have created something very light, modern and spacious. The cupboard space is perfect for our needs and having had the kitchen installed over 6 months ago we have had chance to use the kitchen and fully put it through its paces.
about the new cooking area
We decided to go for a double width drawer underneath the cooker for all our utensils and combine it with double width cupboard drawers for the pots, pans and other larger items that we had and wanted a place for. This has worked out really well for us and makes such a difference to the use of the kitchen.

the pull out larder is something for us that makes everything so convenient making many of the items we used to store up in cupboards at an arms reach and is definitely close to the top of our favourite features about our new kitchen
the seating and breakfast area
All we can do is praise the way the design came together. The room was previously a dining room we have been pleasantly surprised with just how spacious it is as a kitchen with plenty of room for the central island and the inclusion of a much wanted wine rack.
why we choose the granite
First of all we were considering wood because we liked the natural look however we later understood how much maintenance the natural wood required and granite seemed to offer exactly what we were looking for and gave us a beautiful contrast with the flooring and the ambient lighting that we chose.
